Whoo hoo…I passed exam 070-480: Programming in HTML5 with Javascript and CSS3 yesterday. Didn’t crush it, but passed it and that’s all that matters. Took advantage of the free voucher offer from Microsoft. So the good news was that the exam was free. The bad news was that I failed to really study…much, much harder exam than I thought it would be. I really need to go back now and learn about web workers and JavaScript prototypes and inheritance.
I’m now planning on getting my Microsoft Specialist: Visual Studio certification next, which will require me to take and pass exam 070-483: Programming in C#.
After that, I’ll move on to the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD). More specifically, MCSD: Web Apps Certification, which will require that I take and pass exam 070-486: Developing ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Applications and then exam 070-487: Developing Windows Azure and Web Services.
Who knows, if that all goes well, then maybe Microsoft Certified Solutions Master (MCSM) is in my future, but there goes my OCD nature again…:)
